James in the Making Part 2.

Three weeks ago I was 155 lbs., after eating nothing but chicken, sashimi tuna, hard boiled eggs (white part only) and eating cashews, and doing nothing but cross fit training 2 hours a day, 4 friggin days a week, I have finally brought out 5 extra pounds, bringing me to 160lbs. Finally! I have been 155lbs. for almsot 2 years. To be honest, I feel stronger and less tired. At the end of the month, I have planned to cut down my training to one hour, since I almost threw-up yesterday, and I want to get back in practicing my Muy Thai. In conclusion, everything is going just as planned, I just wish this training made me more taller, haha. Just one more inch please, so much to ask for. Just a little something to refresh your memory of what I am going for son, haha.

Clint Eastwood. Mr. Badass

Last Monday my parents and I went to go see Clint Eastwood's Grand Torino. It was a very simple movie w/ a great story line to it. And as always, Eastwood is one bad ass mofo. The movie had a lot of racial subjects, but it made the movie even better, supported the story line very well. The movie gives you a good idea of how society is today, makes you think about what is around you and how time changes things. I give this one a 9/10. The problem was those damn actors, mainly the Asian actors in this movie really sucked, especially the main character Thao, horrible, he was so mono-toned, displayed no character and personality, he was just plain boring. Other than that, it was good, a must see.

Date w/ Kenny,

So yesterday Kenny and I hanged around for a bit, I turned in a few resumes at a couple of hotels in downtown, Kenny got new tires tubes for his bike in downtown, and our last stop was Pinkberry at Santana Row. Supposodly they opened up a few days ago, but even after a few days of opening, it was still jam packed. The line was a mile long (sarcasm), but it went by quick. In the end, it was fun, but it was not worth it. It was about $5 for a small handful of yogurt, they only have 3 flavors (Original, Green Tea, and Pomegranate) and each flavor is like 50 cents more. The other thing is you cannot scoop your own toppings, each topping is 75 cents, and they did not have mochi...lame. For that price or maybe even a dollar more, you can go to Tartini or Yogurtland and get half more with more toppings. I would suggest to not spend your money there, thats the catch when getting something at Santana Row. Look! Its Christine (Aki). Ran into her and said whats up. We all agreed it was not worth it and other places were a bit better.

Toyota Cresta.

Look at this beautiful Toyota GX71 Cresta (Cressida in U.S.) that I found looking through this one random Japanese blog. Even though I have been craving AE70's and looking at almost every possible picture out there from the ones in Japan, I keep running to these babies. Wouldnt mind one of these.

Next on the list. I Want!

Once I finish paying off my Imperza, I am ready to get my hands on a KE/AE70 Corolla. I cant get this off my mind, the front head lights and the boxy shape of the body. Slap in a 7M-GTE right? Haha. We'll just have to see what the future will hold for me with this car. I definitely already gave it some thought on what I would like to have on it, just simple stuff to get it going and tickle my fancy: SSR Longchamp XR-4's, Koni Yellow or AGX w/ Ground Control's or TRD springs. Custom dual exhaust, K&N/Blitz cone filter, Nardi wheel. Thats pretty much the basics, dont want to get to detailed and start fooling myself. In the end, I know my friend Kenny will buy me one, he'll pick a good one for me, right Kenny! White one please.

Finally! T&E E92 335i Drift Machine.

After so many months of waiting, its finally out. Takahiro Ueno finally put his Toyota Soarer, a car he has driven since D1 debuted, into the garage. And now, he finally debuted his new drift machine, a BMW 335i. He pulled out the 3.0 liter twin-tubrocharged motor and replaced it with legendary 2jz-gte motor which is bumped up to a 3.1 liter. The transmission is a Hollinger six-speed sequential gear box. And of course as always, he runs with Advan tires, this time with the new Advan Neova ADO8. The only thing I did not expect was the graphic design of the car, I was assuming he would keep the famous Ferrari red color with the Vertex/T&E graphics, but considering it a whole different concept, it is a good looking change. Now we just have to wait for the performance of the car, see where it takes Mr. Ueno this year in D1. I definitely cannot wait to see a E92 Bimmer drift a wide bank at 100mph.This is a car that has sharp lines and a sleek display that will look like a clean drift machine. Good luck to Ueno for 2009.

Makes Sense.

Isn't That Just Awesome.

Porsche champagne, isnt that just awesome? I'm not really a champagne person, but I would definitely like to get a glass of this, and then cruise around Carmel in my 1955 Porsche 356sc Speedster, smoking a fine cigar listening to Miles Davis go crazy on the trumpet. Yup.

James in the Making.

For the past two months I have been following the Gym Jones (www.gymjones.com) training, many of you may know it as the 300/Spartan training. After seeing Korean Popstar Rain/Bi, doing the same training and seeing his body for his new U.S. movie "Ninja Assassin," I have decided to follow this training. This is definitely a hardcore, aggressive, lethal workout consisting of nonstop reps., which goes on for about 2-3 hours. The basic point of this training is to build up your maximum potential strength, buiding up one's true core. After the two months I have been training, I have definitely seen fast results, each time I leave the gym, get home and about to take a shower, I take a look at the mirror and see the results right in front of me, and I am amazed and I feel great. Not only have I built strength and my body is more solid than before, but I feel stronger and more energized. If anybody wants to get in shape, build strength and just feel good, I highly recommend this training, look at my man Bi, he's crazy! Here is a simple list of the work out in order, it is not necessarily the exact list, but it is damn close, I made it kind of easy, haha. I suggest doing the whole list twice in one day. After each part you do, take only a 30 second to 1 minute breather. Good luck and enjoy. 20x Pull-ups. 20x Shoulder Dips. 40x Dead lifts. 40x Push-ups. 40x Box Jumps. 40x Sit-ups 40x Side Sit-ups. 1 minute Bicycles (Sit-ups). 30x Clean and Press. 40x Kettle Throws. 20x Pull-ups. 20x Shoulder Dips.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. A+!

Last Tuesday I went to see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and it is by far one of the best movies I have ever seen! There must have been at least 5 times where I wanted to just let go and cry because the movie is just so heartwarming and full of love. The direction of the film was very vintage-like, the warm colors they show, the graceful movements of the camera just touched my heart. As lame as all of this sounds, you must go watch it to understand how I felt when seeing this movie, it definitely makes you think about how precious life is and how much you go through in life. This to me is Brad Pitt's best, and one of my top 5 favorite movies. Yes...its that good.
