Las Vegas 12/08. Pictures.
So when I made a post about my Las Vegas trip last December, I couldnt post up pictures due to the fact that my computer is new/expensive/yet lame. So here are the pictures of my solo trip to my second home, my spiritual journey...
Here is the view of the living room of the Marriott Grand Chateau.
Kitchen, and the only time I used it was getting ice and
putting a bottle of Pepsi in the refrigerator.
Here is the Master Bedroom, where the magic happens...
me falling asleep at the tv.
Yes yes, I roll so high class, that I need two shower heads.
I had such a hard time trying to figure out which one I should
use. So of course, I used both.
Here is the first thing that I did.
And again.
Here is the view that I had, The City Center, this is what I woke up to every
morning. This is Day 1. 15 minutes into getting settled in
the room, it was around 6 p.m.
And this is Day 2, about 10 in the morning.
My last day. I saved the best spot for last. Spent my whole
day there.
V.I.P. entrance for James.
You cannot help but to admire the design concept of the Wynn
Resort and Casino, it is like nothing else.
Definitely Feng Shui style. Just full of relaxation, and
tranquility.
The Encore, the new partner hotel to the Wynn. The one
place I could not go because it was not opened yet. Opening
day was the day after my flight back home, can you believe that!
I was soo juiced on seeing this place, grabbing a single malt
scotch, but nope.
Later on, I stopped by Terrace Point Cafe to grab some
coffee and dessert.
Upside-down Pineapple cake w/ coconut bread. A la mode.
And to end the night off, I had to grab a single malt
scotch at the lounge.
The signature that says it all.
In the end, it was a relaxing trip. I got to have some time to myself, collect my thoughts.
I would definitely love to do it again, maybe next time with a nice lady friend, right right?!

Beginning of Something Fresh.
As of right now, I am officially an employee at the Hotel Montgomery, I couldnt be anymore happier. The night before the interview, I got a call from the hiring manager and he asked me if I wanted to come in for an interview at 3, and I was like "yes of course, I am looking forward to it." After hanging up the phone with him at exactly 6:30, from then on I was so overwhelmed and nervous, my heart would not stop beating all night.
All night and all morning I started watching videos on the Wynn Resort and Casino, going on the website, taking virtual tours and listening to Steve Wynn's voice of inspiration, just to get in the mode. Shined my shoes, ironed my shirt, prepared my suit and tie, and just stayed focused. Later I interviewed with the hiring manager and the General Manager in the Board Room, they were both very simple and chill people, so I was comfortable.
In the end, I am happy to be starting my experience in the field I have dreamed to be apart of for so long. Right when I left the hotel, it was light rain, and I felt very refreshed and calm. And three hours later as I was outside, I get a call, and I was offered something that I could not pass. I think to myself now that this is where it all begins, this is where I start following a path that leads to my future career and passion, all I have to do is take those giant steps.

Autobacs U.S.A- Ch.11 Bankruptcy.
Today as I was browsing on Ben Schauffer's blog (Bulletproof Automotive Owner), he posted up news about Autobacs U.S.A filing chapter 11 bankruptcy. Man, this just shows a good example on how business in the U.S. is at a downfall, even for the international companies that expand their business to America, where it is suppose to be "prosperous." First Greddy, now Autobacs.
Chapter 11 bankruptcy consists of reorganization, where the company is able to reorganize their business actions, find ways to make profit and improve revenue, and is also mainly controlled by whoever their creditors are....from what I remember in business class. So there is a good chance that Autobacs, which is also a parent company with ASM, will stay with us here in California. Hopefully things go well for them, because I still need to shop there for goodies.

Best Calendar Evaaa.
Superbowl 43.
Today I went to Brian's house for Superbowl 43, just the boyz chillaxin. I brought the Blue Moon, and everyone else brought everything else, haha. All the guys were going for Arizona Cardinals, I personally went for them because I was never a Steelers fan, and also I've been keeping my eye on Wide Receiver Larry Fitzgerald (#11), the man catches everything thrown by Warner.
The game was at a downfall in the beginning, they made a good comeback in the 3rd quarter, and in the end, it was close, the Steelers just got lucky. The whole time we were all wondering why Warner didnt make much passes to Fitzgerald till the end of 3rd and most of 4th, if they were saving him then they should have started throwing passes to him at least in 2nd. Most of the accomplished plays by the Cardinals were by Fitzy man! Im pissed.
Well, in end, Steelers has a good defense and the Cardinals have a good offense. I think the main problem was that Cardinals kept trying to hard to get the Quarterback rather than watching the Steelers offense out in the open damn it! It was a good game though, especially since it was my first time watching it with friends.
On another note, that Referee who made all those damn yellow flag calls on the Cardinals was a prick!
